Lunar Eclipse in Gemini: Harbinger of the Air Age

It’s that time of year again: Eclipse season!

The full moon in Gemini occurring on November 30th will also have the distinction of being a lunar eclipse. The past several eclipses have occurred across Cancer and Capricorn, a water-earth axis. This lunar eclipse will kick of a series of eclipses occurring across Gemini and Sagittarius, which is an air-fire axis.

The lunar eclipse on November 30th will be the first such eclipse to occur with a Gemini North Node since the period between October 2001 to April 2003. If you happen to recall what events transpired in your life during that time period, you may be able to identify potential patterns or themes that could be highlighted or see a resurgence in the coming year and a half. If not, read on.

While this particular eclipse won’t be as powerful or significant as the solar eclipse in Sagittarius next month, it will give us a bit of a preview of what topics we can expect to see highlighted mid-December with the coming emphasis on the element of air starting with the lunar eclipse happening across the Sagittarius-Gemini axis followed by the ingress and subsequent conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius all within a few days of one another.

Some potential overarching themes we can expect as a collective have to do with Facts (Gemini) vs Truth (Sagittarius) or Thought (Gemini) vs. Perspective (Sagittarius).

Eclipses often times plant seeds for what will blossom between one eclipse season to the next (solar eclipses) or culminate promises from previous eclipses (lunar eclipses). You can identify eclipses in the natal chart based on the sun and moon’s proximity to the lunar nodes.

Further, you can identify which topic(s) will be highlighted in your own life by this eclipse by observing in which house Gemini lies in your natal chart and looking at the associations for that particular house. See also if you have any planets in your chart in these signs which may be activated due to possible close aspects with any of the coming eclipses in Gemini and Sagittarius. The Gemini-Sagittarius axis will be the focal point of eclipse seasons from now until early January 2022.

In peace & love,
